Day #1
Cairo: Upon arrival, our representative will meet and assist you through airport formalities and will escort you to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day #2 Cairo: After breakfast, you will begin your full day tour in Cairo which includes a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. After lunch in a local oriental restaurant, you will visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. In the evening, you will be escorted to the train station for an overnight train to Aswan.
Day #3 Aswan: Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel. You will visit the Granite Quarries (the Unfinished Obelisk), the Temple of Philae which is dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the High Dam. Overnight in Aswan hotel.
Day #4 Aswan: In the morning, there is an optional tour to
Abu Simbel. In the afternoon, you will view the Elephantine Island and Botanical Gardens by felucca. You will check into your felucca. Overnight sail to Edfu.
Day #5: After breakfast, yisit the Temple of Kom-Ombo dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek, and will sail to Edfu. Overnight on felucca.
Day #6: Visit the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the falcon god Horus. You will then be trasfered to Luxor hotel. In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak. For Sound and Light Show, please check the appropriate box under the optional tours. Overnight in Luxor.
Day #7
Luxor-The West Bank: After breakfast, you will visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. In the evening you will take the overnight bus to Dahab.
Days #8 to 11
Dahab: Arriving at Dahab, our base for the coming days, there is plenty of time to explore the Sinai – a region of awesome beauty. Dahab offers great diving, snorkelling, swimming and sun-worshipping possibilities. Enjoy an excursion to the Blue Hole, which is excellent for snorkelling. An energetic excursion to Mt. Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery is also included. Our climb commences in the early hours of the morning and experiencing the magnificent sunrise atop a mountain is truly a great experience. Camel and jeep treks into the surrounding Sinai Desert are also available locally. Dahab waterfront is dotted with relaxed cafes, bars and shops, perfect for eating, drinking and a little relaxing retail therapy.
Day #12: Transfer to Cairo by bus. Overnight in Cairo hotel.
Day #13: After breakfast, you wil be escorted to the airport for your departure.
