Day 1
Cairo: Upon arrival, our representative will meet and assist you through airport formalities and will escort you to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2 Cairo: After breakfast, you will begin your full day tour in Cairo which includes a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. After lunch in a local oriental restaurant, you will visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Overnight train to Aswan.
Day3 Aswan: Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your Nile Cruise. You will visit the Granite Quarries (the Unfinished Obelisk), the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the High Dam. Overnight on board.
Day 4 Aswan & Kom-Ombo: Optional tour to
Abu Simbel. In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Kom-Ombo, dedicated to the Crocodile god Sobek. Overnight sail to Edfu.
Day 5 Edfu: In the early morning, you will ride on a horse carriage, visiting the Temple of Edfu dedicated to the Falcon god Horus. Sail to Luxor.
Day 6
Luxor-The East Bank: You will visit the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak. For Sound and Light Show, please check the appropriate box under the optional tours. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 7 Luxor-The West Bank: After breakfast, you will visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. In the evening you will take the overnight bus to Dahab.
Days 8 to 11
The Red Sea: Arriving at Dahab, Hurgahda, or Sharm El Sheikh (depending on your choice) is our base for the next 4 days. There is plenty of time to explore the Sinai – a region of awesome beauty. Each one of these cities offers great diving,
snorkeling, swimming and sun-worshipping possibilities. An energetic excursion to Mt. Sinai and St. Catherine’s Monastery is also included. Our climb commences in the early hours of the morning and experiencing the magnificent sunrise atop a mountain is truly a great experience. Camel and jeep treks into the surrounding Sinai Desert are also available locally. There is also a corniche dotted with relaxed cafes, bars and shops, perfect for eating, drinking and a little relaxing retail therapy.
Day 11:
Transfer to Cairo by bus. Overnight in Cairo hotel.
Day 12 Cairo: After breakfast, you will visit Memphis, the oldest capital in history, followed by a visit to Sakkara, the necropolis of the old kingdom and the step pyramid. You can finish your day with a visit to Khan Khalil Bazzar. Over night in Cairo.
Day 13: After breakfast, you will be escorted top the airport for your departure.
