Day 1
Cairo: Upon arrival, our representative will meet and assist you through airport formalities and will escort you to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2 Cairo: After breakfast, you will begin your full day tour in Cairo which includes a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. After lunch in a local oriental restaurant, you will visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. End your day with a trip to Khan Khalil Bazzar. Return to your hotel for overnight in Cairo.
Day #3
Alexandria & Cairo: An early start after breakfast for Alexandria where we visit the Roman Amphitheater, the Catacombs (the Roman Cemetery), the bibliotheca (new libraray, and the Citadel. Return to Cairo (3 Hours drive each way). Leisure night in Cairo. REcommended Optional Tour: Sound & Light Show.
Day 4
Luxor : The East Bank:
Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your hotel. You will then visit the Temple of Luxor and the Temple of Karnak. For Sound and Light Show, please check the appropriate box under the optional tours. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 5 Luxor : The West Bank: After breakfast, you will visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. In the evening you will take the train to Aswan and will be escorted to your hotel.
Day 6
Aswan
: After breakfast, you will visit the Granite Quarries (the Unfinished Obelisk), the Temple of Philae which is dedicated to the goddess Isis, and the High Dam. In the afternoon, you will view the Elephantine island and the Botanical Gardens by felucca.
Day 7
Abu Simbel : An early departure by road (3 hours each way) for Abu Simble and the great temple of Ramsess II and Nefertari. In the evening, you will take the overnight train to Cairo.
Day 8 Cairo : After breakfast, you will visit Memphis, the oldest capital in history, followed by a visit to Saqqara, the necropolis of the old kingdom and the step pyramid. Over night in Cairo.
Day 9 : After breakfast, you wil be escorted to the airport for your departure.
